The Poon Hill Trek is Nepal's most popular short trek—and for good reason. In just 4-5 days, you'll witness one of the most spectacular sunrises in the Himalayas, with panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Machapuchare, and dozens of other peaks. The trail passes through charming Gurung and Magar villages, dense rhododendron forests (stunning in spring), and offers a perfect introduction to Himalayan trekking. Ideal for first-timers, families, or anyone with limited time.

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul trailhead. Begin trekking through terraced fields and small villages along the Modi Khola. Tikhedhunga means 'place of the hot spring.'
